Matthew has very good size for a 2018 Pro Style QB at 6'0", 175 lbs. He's able to stand in the pocket and take a hit immediately after he releases the football. He shows good toughness on the run, taking on would-be tacklers for additional yardage. He'll be able to bulk up over the next few years and have ideal size upon entering the collegiate level. He throws a very catchable ball with good placement, keeping it away from the defender. He's able to hit his receivers in all areas of the field. Very accurate on the short and intermediate routes but can work to improve on the accuracy of the deeper routes.
