Affidavit: Ex-Texas Tech player stole guns in burglary (Yahoo Sports)
An arrest affidavit says a Texas Tech football player who was kicked off the team earlier this month stole at least seven guns after burglarizing a home in December. The affidavit says Robert James Castaneda told investigators he broke into the Lubbock home on Dec. 20 and took a safe with seven weapons. Investigators say they were led to Castaneda after one of the stolen weapons was found in a pawnshop.
